Buyan Lake, Bali - INDONESIA
Buyan Lake is one of the four lakes in Bali that offers spectacular natural view to refresh our soul and mind. It is a nice place to spend a day or two camping trip while you are on vacation on the island of paradise - Bali.
Buyan Lake is located in Buleleng Regency about one and a half hour drive from Denpasar-the capital city of Bali. It can be reached only about 10 minute from the Botanical Garden of Bedugul or about 5 minutes from Ulundanu Beratan Temple.
Driving along the main road to the north from Beratan Lake, tourists will enjoy the beautiful scenery of Buyan lake wherein on the down side tourists can do many activities such as fishing, boating, camping and lake walking. Meanwhile from the top side, tourists can takes hundreds of pictures with Lake Buyan views in several photo spots provided by local people while enjoying coffee, tea or other hot drinks.
The location of Buyan Lake which is in the preserved rain forest, allow tourists to explore the remote side of Bali where thousands of high trees growing and well-preserved by the local people. For local Balinese people, forest has been long served as a sacred site as many God's creatures living there. So, they respect them and preserved the forest as a part of their obligation of being Hindu Balinese.
Buyan Lake offers very fresh atmosphere and green surroundings. The temperatur is between 16 - 20 Degree Celcius. So, for European tourists won't be matter with it. However for domestic tourists will be a bit cool especially when the sun begins to down or when rain comes within the site. The lake is also frequently covered with fog especially when the weather is cloudy.
When is the best day to visit Buyan Lake? It is recommended to visit during the day time between 10 o'clock in the morning and 3 o'clock in the afternoon. This range of time offers oppurtunities to experience the site better.
